University measures taken regarding COVID-19
- MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The risk assessment level is currently WHITE. It is not compulsory to wear respirators in all MU buildings.
- All covid-19 policies related to entering the country have been suspended. See also current restrictions in the Czech Republic.

MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The university currently has a “WHITE LIGHT” rating, determined by the MU Crisis Board. University faculties, institutes, and offices may declare a higher alert level than the university-wide level or introduce stricter rules than elsewhere at the university. Follow the websites of individual faculties and the colour-coded signs hanging on the exteriors of MU buildings.

On 21 February, MU traffic-light system to turn green
Considering the current epidemiological situation, the MU Crisis Board has decided to move to the green level of the traffic-light system. New measures will go into effect on Monday, 21 February.

Spring semester at Masaryk to start mainly with in-person classes
Teaching at Masaryk University in the spring semester will be governed by the YELLOW setting of the university’s Covid-19 traffic light system and the applicable Government measures.

Masaryk University students to compete at the Olympics
The 2022 Winter Olympic Games are starting. Eight MU students left for Beijing at the beginning of February, with one waiting for a negative test and another athlete currently preparing for a quick departure after receiving an additional nomination.
