| Popis | Isoelectric focusing (IEF) is suitable and broadly used method for protein purification and separation. There are several solution phase IEF devices based on following designs: multicompartment, off-gel and continuous flow. Here, we present a new device based on nonwoven strip devised in our laboratory. Sweet whey is rich in an abundance of proteins. Caseinomacropeptide (CMP) as one of them is the valuable dietary supplement. We purified CMP from crude whey using new solution phase IEF device. |
