| Popis | 23-year-old pregnant (in vitro fertiliation) was reffered to an early foetal echokardiogram for an enlarged right atrium and tricuspid valve regurgitation. These findings were confirmed at 16 weeks of gestation with otherwise normal cardiac anatomy. Colour flow mapping used during foetal echokardiogram at 21st week of gestation revealed intra-hepatic arteriovenous malformation – a communication between abdominal aorta and a cystic enlargement of the umbilical vein proximal to the ductus venosus. Apart from RA enlargement, there was no other sign of foetoplacental circulatory impairment. |
