| Popis | Opening keynote lecture at the thematic Prague School of Bioethics (organised by the 2nd Medical Faculty, Charles University Prague) reflecting gender relations in medicine, in women´s careers in medicine, gender stereotypes and potentials for change in the profession. Sociological understanding of gender as a category of analysis helped dismantle the common-sense undestanding of gender as individual personal traits pointing out structural (divison of labour and symbolic) dimensions. |
