| Popis | The study is aimed at the relationship between autobiographical memory and life story. Links between autobiographical memory and other kinds of memory, especially episodic and repisodic ones, are explored. Real and remembered event are analysed as the concepts having implications for the research of autobiographic memory. Social constructionistic, cognitive and discoursive approaches to autobiographical memory are critically discussed. Concept of narrative memory is tentatively defined as a remembered life story and remembered and remembering self-narrative. Importance of forgetting in autobiographical memory is mentioned. Autobiographical memory is linked to life-story and this linkage is outlined as a coherent shape of past memories, present experience, and anticipated future. |
