| Popis | Darstein et al. presented an interesting case of a 45-yearold man diagnosed with Erdheim–Chester disease (ECD), a rare non-Langerhans cell histiocytosis characterised by proliferation and accumulation of lipid laden foamy histiocytes. Subsequently, the patient was successfully treated with combination of anakinra (interleukin-1 receptor antagonist) and glucocorticoids.1 We draw readers’ attention to xanthelasma palpebrarum as a common manifestation of ECD. |
