Popis The paper focuses on the analysis of economic and physical accessibility and availability of food in the Czech Republic. Food security includes three main pillars - availability, access, and utilisation. There is precisely examined the area of access to food, in terms of affordability and in terms of the possibility of physical access to food, because in the Czech Republic the physical accessibility to food is ensured through a single network of retail stores very well, economical access - affordability, however, is lower for many population groups.
