| Popis | The emergence and development of oral differences in a language is influenced by various phenomena, both linguistic and non-linguistic. A particular situation occurs when two different languages meet, or one language replaces another in a particular geographic area, with the language of the resettling ethnic community often retaining traces (elements) of the language of the former ethnicity. On the basis of complex dialect investigations an attempt is made to pursue the far-reaching cultural-historical cooperation and understanding between Germans and Czechs. |
