| Popis | At the invitation of the Department of Czech Language at Zhejiang Yuexiu University in Shaoxing (China), I gave a lecture called Excerpts from Czech Culture. The lecture was intended for Chinese students of Czech of all school years. The main theme implied four sections from older and modern Czech culture, the so-called excerpts embodied several Czech personalities from the field of history, literature and music such as Jiří of Poděbrady (European alliance), J. A. Komenský (humanism), J. V. Stamic (Mannheim School), etc. The lecture presented selected samples from Czech culture and introduced Chinese students to the related intercultural discourse. |
