| Popis | The Battle on the Marchfeld, in which Rudolf I Habsburg in the year 1278 defeated Czech king Ottokar II, was the one of the most popular themes of Austrian patriotic art at the beginning of the 19th Century, whereas in Czech land it was controversial subject. The article confront two works on paper with this motive. First from Czech-German romantik painter Josef Führich, next from Moravian dilettante artist Franz Richter. |
