| Popis | The aim of the paper is to present and assess the subjective evaluative image of the internal structure of Brno. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey, the city wards considered by the city inhabitants to be the best or the worst in terms of quality of life were identified. In selected cases, a comparison was made of the external, “city-wide” view and the internal image, the way inhabitants perceive their particular ward. Results of the study showed not only the frequent differences in terms of both points of view, but in a more general manner they also contributed to the understanding of the importance of various factors affecting the perception of the everyday life environment (e.g. local patriotism) and the way of forming its image. |
