| Popis | Here we report on the utilization of Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) for the analysis of geological samples with high spatial resolution. As a reference technique to LIBS, Tescan Integrated mineral analyzer (TIMA) was used. We focused on the spatial resolution, possibility of online, in-situ and free-field measurements and on the detection of selected metal such as platinum and nickel. A chemical map of the sample surface with 100 microns spatial resolution in both directions was carried out. |
