Outsourcing in the public sector: Cases from the Czech Republic

| Popis | In this text we provide two cases describing processes and results concerning the outsourcing in public sector bodies in the Czech Republic. Data are based on in depth audit delivered by students preparing their master degree thesis (Veronika Kufova, 2016 and Paulina Mrazkova, 2016) supervised by the author of this paper. The data reveal examples of effective outsourcing, thereby indicating the potential value of externalisation, if it is properly implemented, but also examples of ineffective decisions. |
