| Popis | The lecture was devoted to the formation and development of the oldest monumental authorities, which also operated in Slovakia. It pays special attention to the situation after the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic, when the foundations of the current protection of cultural and natural heritage in Slovakia were laid. The center of attention is the creation of the Government Commissioner for the Preservation of Monuments in Slovakia (1919 - 1922), which was later transformed into the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments, initially operating under the State Inspectorate of Archives and Libraries. |
