| Popis | This book is devoted to visual communication in the German-Czech meeting space in the past and present. Not only the media of photography, caricature, advertising graphics, illustrated books and documentary films are examined, but also the respective creators as well as the archives, publishers, companies and exhibition houses that preserve and present them. Using ethnological, historical and media studies approaches, it is examined how visual media and institutions actively influence the mutual perception of Germans, Czechs and "Sudeten Germans". |
