Popis In an era marked by shifting geopolitical realities and increasing environmental pressures, securing resource independence has emerged as a critical imperative. The conference aims to provide a platform for sharing legal research, experience and professional discussion on current challenges in environmental law related to resource independence and national self-sufficiency in Central Europe. We invite the submission of insightful contributions – whether advancing theoretical understanding or presenting rigorous analyses of salient case law and legislative measures originating from the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia. Engagement with the implications of European and international law is considered highly relevant. A focal point of the discussion will be the exploration of novel legal mechanisms and forward-thinking approaches designed to address pressing resource challenges, acknowledging the significant influence of the current dynamic geopolitical context.
