Popis The workshop is divided into two sections. In the first, we will explore how social workers can act as policy actors. You will be introduced to different typological roles, such as frontline policy translators, organisational intrapreneurs, coalition builders, policy advocates, policy entrepreneurs, and knowledge or policy brokers. Each role will be illustrated with real examples from the field of Roma inclusion, helping you see how these positions operate in practice. The second part will focus on how social workers put these roles into action through four basic policy practice strategies: inside-game strategies, outside-game strategies, bonding strategies, and bridging strategies. By considering the potential of these strategies, you will learn how to adapt a particular set of actions to specific situations and design tailored tactics that can promote meaningful policy change.
