| Popis | This article aims to explore what competencies, i.e. qualities and skills, a good modern translator should possess in view of the requirements and needs of the globalized multilingual and multicultural world. In addition to purely linguistic competencies (e.g. sociolinguistic, pragmatic, textual, etc.), ?he text also draws attention to cultural, technological and informational competencies, which are also a necessary prerequisite for achieving a quality translation product. |
