Popis The ternary Co-Se-Sn system was investigated experimentally at 400, 600 and 1000 degrees C using scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction, supported by CALPHAD predictions. The thermal stability of the ternary phase CoSn1.5Se1.5 was redefined and a new ternary phase with composition Co33Se34Sn33 (CoSeSn) was detected. Complete isothermal sections at 400 and 600 degrees C and a partial isothermal section at 1000 degrees C of the ternary Co-Se-Sn phase diagram are presented.
