Popis The chapter describes exploitation of three chlorophyll fluorescence methods: (1) fast kinetics of chlorophyll fluorescence, (2)rapid light response curve, (3)daily courses of chlorophyll fluorescence parameters. Special attention is devoted to the application of the above three methods in recent physiological plant ecology. The phenomenon of negative acclimation of plant photosynthesis caused by long-term elevated concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide is documented for some grass species and Mediterranian evergreen tree species.
