| Popis | The results of the present experiments support our hypothesis that there are two parallel ways in which high levels of bromide in the organism of experimental animals could influence their iodine metabolism: by decreasing iodide accumulation in the thyroid, and by rising iodide elimination from the body through the kidneys. |
