Popis The remarks presented here enable us to more accurately classify a saucepan discovered in the 1988 excavated grave in Mannersdorf an der March. On comparison with the Pompeii specimen, the Mannersdorf saucepan has been assigned to the Tassinari G5300 type. Iconographic specification of the attachment from grave no. 146 from Dobřichov Pičhora has also been changed in the light of our findings. The figure depicted on the E 24 type bucket attachment has due to the presence of wings and a male chest been identified as Eros. The deity has been portrayed on the attachment from the collective find from Vienna Schwechat as well as on several other types of vessels. Taking into account the similarities in both size and shape, it is not entirely impossible that the two attachments came from the same manufacturing centre. However, this hypothesis is yet to be verified by an analysis of the alloy which the attachments are made of. We believe that the two artefacts comprise a single bucket attachment variant of the E 24 type. It will now be known as the Schwechat/Dobřichov-Pičhora variant.
