Popis The Unification Church has become an "old-new religious movement". It appeared in the 50's in Korea and was built on a leader-centered model. The small communities had been working together on world peace missions under the relatively firm definition of gender roles. However, the communication nowadays works really differently: the movement is spread all around the world and the members use social networks and other new media to share every-day problems in family and theology. They find suitable partners for their children thanks to Facebook, read advices for sexual life on their computers, download the presentations from their country leaders and feel much freer to express their thoughts online. How has this change influenced the principles of hierarchy in the church? How has the use of media changed the gender roles? And what does it say about the "media era" itself?
