• Popis: In my presentation, I was concerned with the artistic career of Lukas Bärfuss. Firstly, I focused on his early drama, a not very successful prose debut, and his essays. Secondly, I tried to show those of his strategies thanks to which he has been considered a public intellectual and a successor of Max Frisch and Friedrich Dürrenmatt. Finally, I dealt with the question what role does his biography (poverty, early school leaving, advancement from a self-educated person to a respected intellectual) play?
