| Popis | The main tenet of the following paragraphs is that there is an inherent tendency in valency lexicography to minimise cross-linguistic contrasts by designing lexical entries which group lexical units according to a homogenizing tertium comparationis. The claim is illustrated by material from German and Czech which has been gathered during ongoing work on a contrastive valency dictionary. |
