| Popis | Excavation of the team from Masaryk university at the Bibracte oppidum (Mont Beuvray, France) in 2022 has revealed the first Gallo-Roman stone building from the 2nd-3rd century AD at the site, inhabited otherwise during the 1st century BC and at the turn of the era. The structure is related to a sanctuary, which was still in use after the abandonment of the oppidum. Research has also yielded evidence of intensive building activity in the vicinity of the ditch during the Augustan period. |
