Citace
Popis CAMELIA has been founded in 2005 as a collaborative project of Leukemia Section of Czech Society of Hematology and Institute for Biostatistics and Analyses of Masaryk University (IBA) in Brno as an observational registry for monitoring of incidence, diagnostic aspects, prognostic factors and treatment response of patients (pats) with CML. At present 10 major hematologic centers from Czech Republic and Slovakia are participating in the registry. Data on 566 pats were collected so far. Presentation describes well 430 defined pats with Ph-positive CML (229 male and 201 female at median age 50 years) diagnosed after 2000: 401 (93%) of them in chronic phase, 24 (6%) in acceleration and 5 (1%) in blastic phase. Of 303 pats treated with imatinib (IM) in the chronic phase of CML 240 (79%) achieved complete hematologic and 203 (67%) partial cytogenetic response. OS of pats treated with IM in advanced phase of CML was significantly shorter than of pats in chronic phase (p=0,003).
